Hi, Today I am demonstrating on GPS & GSMBased School Kids Tracking System.
This project work is an attempt to designa tracking unit that uses the global positioning system to determine the precise location ofa school kids to which it is attached and using GSM modem this information can be transmitto remote user.
This system contains single-board embeddedsystem that is equipped with GPS, ARM with LCD, GSM modem, Buffer, Driver, relay and Powersupply.
During object motion, its location can bereported by SMS.
A software package is developed to read, process,analyze and store the incoming SMS.
The use of GSM and GPS technologies allowsthe system to track object and provides the most up-to-date information about kids whichis having GPS tag.
Advantages:• This system has many advantages such as large capability, wide areas range.
• Low operation costs, effective, Strongexpandability.
• Easy to use in vehicle traffic administration.
• Upgrading this setup is very easy whichmakes it open to future a requirement which also makes it more efficient.
Applications:• This system finds its application in real time traffic surveillance.
It could be used as a valuable tool for realtime traveler information, congestion monitoring, and system evaluation.
• An intelligent, automated vehicle trackingsystem can resolve following problems such as, late arrivals• To scheduled, improper use of company time and resources, unsafe driving habits,assigned routes, inefficient dispatching, and passenger’s dissatisfaction.
• This can lead to better traffic flow modelingand a better understanding of driver behavior.
• This project includes various featureslike simplicity of design and easy of implementation.
Hence by implementing this project we cantrack the person at every intervals of time.
